Claudio Medea was a loving and caring Italian man who loved others unconditionally. He came to England when he was 21yrs of age to work in the pits. He worked in the pits till his back injury in the 1980s. He was a loving, caring dad to myself Claire and Laura. He was also loving father-in-law to my husband Mark and a devoted grandad to my children Thomas Mark and Jack Claudio.
He now has a new son-in-Law in Dan Laura's fiance and a new granddaughter Skyex Who I know even though he is not here will love her dearly as he was and still is a loving grandad.
I know that he is looking down on Laura and myself and proud of us both.
He was diagnosed with Alzheimers an was taken from us 3 months later.Throughout the endless days visiting him seeing his memory and body detrioate he always filled my heart with love.
We love him dearly and will never be forgotton,
Your memory will stay with us forever dad and I promise you we will never forget the unconditional love you gave us all.
May you now be at peace and you cant be hurt anymore x

A dad is someone who gives you uncondtional love,
A dad is someone who is always there to protect you,
A dad is someone who knows something is wrong with you without you saying anything,
A dad is someone who will cuddle you when you are ill and had a bad dream,
A dad is someone who never lies to you,
A dad is someonw who will offer advice to you knowing full well you won't listen to that advice.
A dad is my dad the most precious dad in the world x
Love you dad, with all my heart and can't wait till i finally see you when my time comes. Cause i not scared as i know you will be there with your arms open wide to receive me into your world x
